About me
Hey! My name is Atira Hope, which means “Prayer of Hope”. I am an artist who believes in the power of art to bring healing, peace, and a sense of belonging to the world.
I was named Atira Hope because of the circumstances surrounding my birth - my father's traumatic brain injury left my family praying for hope that he would survive. Luckily, he did, and that experience left a deep impression on me about the value of life and the importance of making the most of every moment.
My art is my way of expressing that gratitude and hope for life. I create contemporary visionary renditions of mandalas and nature paintings, infused with spiritual undertones, sacred geometry, and astrology. My pieces are highly detailed and often feature fractals and trippy vibes, creating an immersive experience for the viewer.
I believe that art has the power to heal and bring people together. By creating art that speaks to people's hearts and souls, I hope to help them feel more at home in their environment and in their own skin. That sense of belonging is something we all crave, especially in a world that can often feel chaotic and disconnected.
I have been drawing mandalas for over a decade and have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I have painted murals locally in Massachusetts, sold my art worldwide through my online shop, and have an online following of over 58k across multiple platforms. I am eager to continue spreading my message of hope through my art at festivals around the world.
When I'm not creating art, you can find me spending time with my loved ones, journaling, thrifting, playing in the woods, going to concerts, raves, and festivals, or embarking on spiritual retreats around the globe.
As a Leo sun, Virgo rising, and Taurus moon, I am deeply connected to nature and the world around me, and I hope to share that connection with others through my art. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my work!
